Thesis Update

As of 6 September 2007, the author's thesis write up is completed. However, it is not till tomorrow, upon handing in the dissertation artefacts, a statement can be given that the work needed to be done to earn the MSc in Business Information Technology has ended.

The project was to develop a web-based teaching application for XML learning. This application should be equiped with logon, content navigation, online assessment and also progress tracking. It is decided that the iterative lifecycle approach is taken to develop this application. It is also required that documentation is provided for all stages of the development. This includes the preparatory work, requirement gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Recommendation is given by the supervisor that the document artefacts should be in the form of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams.

Figure 1 - Project documentation statistics

The figure above represents the scale of work that was endured during the past 5 days. This is not in the consideration of the preceding web-application development stages, which has taken approximately 3 months to complete (due to the author's inexperience in programming).

It can be concluded that issues faced during the application development were f*ckin tremendous, however, it is fortunate that the author is a f*ckin freakin genius. Without the author's f*ckin talent, it would not have been possible for a dissertation project of this proportion to be succesfully completed. Thus, f*ck this and have a nice day.

Again, it should be reiterated. F*ck this, and have a nice day.
